MV/MZ - Suikoden Series: Window Sets

This plugin allows the player to select which windowskin they would like the game to use, modeled entirely after the way this feature functioned in the Suikoden series.

Additional windowskins are unlocked by collecting their associated Unlock Item. The default RPG Maker MV windowskin, Window.png, is always available and does not need to be added to the Window Sets parameter.

There are no special notetags for this plugin. Simply owning the associated Unlock Item for each windowskin will automatically unlock it for selection.

With that in mind, it may be in your best interest to make those items unsellable.

Opening the Window Sets Scene

Use the following plugin command or script call:

• Plugin Command: SuikoWindowSet Open
• Script Call: SceneManager.push(Scene_SuikoWindowSet);

Note: Window Set IDs

Every configured Window Set must have a unique Window Set ID.

The ID 'default' is reserved for the default Window.png windowskin and cannot be used by a configured Window Set.

Disclaimer & Compatibility

This plugin has been privately tested in one environment: a fresh project in RPG Maker MV version 1.6.1. I cannot guarantee that a plugin will be compatible with another author's plugins, but I can do my best to patch for compatibility. I can be found easily on Itch.io for this purpose.
